REL Announcements:
  • Flag football game is scheduled for this afternoon. See Coach Johnson for more information. 
  • Students interested in joining the REL Drum Line - meeting March 28. See Mr. Jenkins for more information.
  • REL Football Team Car Wash - March 17th 9:00-1:00. See Coach Small for more information. 
  • After-School and Saturday Test Prep Sessions - Robert E Lee will host Saturday Test Prep Sessions (dates and subjects listed below). Sessions are 8:30-11:30a, with breakfast served from 8-8:30.

  • March 16 - REL College & Career Fair 8:00-12:00. Juniors are invited to participate in this event with their English and US History teachers.
  • March 16 - Mr. Lee 2017 at 6:17p in REL Auditorium. Cost is $5 to support REL Athletic Programs. Contact Mrs. Bloxom-Johnson for more information. 
  • March 25 - FAMU Spring Preview - Free for juniors, seniors, and transfer students. Pre-registration required www.famu/campusvisits click on Spring Preview 2017. Contact FAMU for more information (850-599-3869).
  • March 25 - Bethune-Cookman University "Wildcat Day" (a.k.a. Open House) for all interested students at BCU. Click the link to register for this event!
  • March 31 - REL College Conversation with Everest University
  • April 3 - DCPS Report Cards distributed
  • April 7 - REL College Conversation with University of West Georgia
  • April 21 - Grad Bash (senior activity). See Ms. Sorrells for more information.
  • May 1 - 4th quarter progress reports distributed
  • May 26 - Graduation ceremony at 10:00a at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. See Mrs. Morrison for more information.
  • June 2 - End of Quarter 4/semester 2 & last day of school
  • ACT and SAT test fee waivers for Juniors and Seniors can be picked up from Mrs. Crowden-Richardson during 2nd and 3rd block. Students attending classes off-campus can pick up waivers Fridays 9:00-10:00a.
  • Free ACT and SAT Test Prep - Saturdays at Keiser University 10:00-11:45a. Call 904-296-3440 for more information.
  • After-school tutoring is available in the REL Media Center Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for all subject areas. Students must report to the Media Center by 2:15p to participate. Students who participate in tutoring can catch the Activity Bus at 4:45.

REL Announcements:
  • REL College & Career Fair March 16th 8:00-12:00. Juniors are invited to participate in this event with their English and US History teachers. Students enrolled full-time at FSCJ have been contacted via email regarding this event and how to participate. 
  • Mr. Lee 2017 - March 16th at 6:17p in REL Auditorium. Cost is $5 to support REL Athletic Programs. Contact Mrs. Bloxom-Johnson for more information. 
  • Savannah State University application news! Fill out the application for free this week!
  • Spring Break Packets - go home this week by Wednesday. If you do not receive your packet, please contact your teacher via email ASAP. Packets are for:
    • 9th and 10th English & Language Arts
    • Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry
    • US History
    • Biology

ACT and SAT Free Test Prep Resources!

Kaplan’s SAT Prepathon: Sunday, March 5th

On Sunday, March 5th from 12pm-6pm, Kaplan will be hosting free, nonstop, Live Online prep sessions to help students get ready for the SAT on March 11th.  Instructors will train students on a different section of the SAT every hour, so students can join in at any time throughout the event.

Encourage your students to visit our free online practice resource hub for the SAT and ACT! Each quiz or test taken by your students is an opportunity to give back.
