Florida A&M University Scholarship &
Recruitment Program Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Jean Ribault High School. Admissions and scholarships will be awarded on site for students who have submitted all application materials by January 7! The following scholarship opportunities are available to
qualifying students: Distinguished Scholar Award Incoming freshmen with scores of 1800+ on the SAT or
27+ on the ACT and 3.5+ high school GPA calculated by core (Math, Science, English,
History, Social Science). A National Achievement Semifinalist will receive double
occupancy room rate and board. Students who are Pell Grant eligible will
receive a stipend not to exceed $500/semester. A National Achievement Scholar will receive a laptop,

with their (the student’s) ID and schedule to return and/or pick up books.
Students may NOT pick up books for each other.
Students who do not turn in books by 1:00p Dec. 16th will
have the cost of the textbooks added to their student debt list. This
can prevent textbooks being released in January and can prevent
participation in graduation in June.
Students who cannot make this schedule work and do not have a
parent who can make this schedule work, will need to email Dr. Keefe for
alternate options. These options may include not being able to pick up books
until after the semester starts.
