  • May 26 - Graduation ceremony at 10:00a at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. See Mrs. Morrison for more information.

  • ACT and SAT test fee waivers for Juniors and Seniors can be picked up from Mrs. Crowden-Richardson during 2nd and 3rd block. Students attending classes off-campus can pick up waivers Fridays 9:00-10:00a.
  • Free ACT and SAT Test Prep - Saturdays at Keiser University 10:00-11:45a. Call 904-296-3440 for more information.
  • After-school tutoring is available in the REL Media Center Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for all subject areas. Students must report to the Media Center by 2:15p to participate. Students who participate in tutoring can catch the Activity Bus at 4:45.

April College Conversations

It's time to Spring into action, REL Students! The REL College Conversation schedule for April has been posted and we're ready for you to join the conversation! College Conversations are open to all Lee students. The Conversation usually includes a presentation by the program/school representative and a Question-and-Answer session. Students can sign up for Conversations by clicking the program title and completing the linked form. Hope to see you there! 

University of West Georgia - April 7 
UWG is a medium sized public university located in Carrollton, Georgia. We have about 13,000 student, 85+ undergraduate programs, and 645 acres of beautiful campus. We were also voted the University System of Georgia's institution of the year for 2016. 

Universal Technical Institute - April 7 
-->Post secondary education offering manufacture certified training for transportation industry. Auto, Diesel, Motorcycle and Marine. We are partnered with more than 30 companies. Examples include: Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Mercury, Cummins, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Acura, and many more...Industry hires our graduates. 
University of Florida - April 13  
This presentation will be an overview of the UF application process and how admissions decisions are made.

Career Source of Northeast Florida - April 27 
Career Source strives to open the door to improved employment opportunities through education, training and career services for workers. Representatives will be available to assist students with completing career interest inventories, job applications, and resumes.

REL Announcements:
  • REL Varsity Cheer Interest Meeting - April 10th at 3:00 in the REL Gym. See Coach Phay or Coach Stacie for more information.
  • Grad Bash permission slip and dress code have been shared via email. These items can also be picked up in the REL Main Office. Permission slip is due April 14th. See Ms. Sorrells for more information.
  • Spring into Success – Financial Literacy event April 8th at the Advanced Technology Center Florida State College at Jacksonville from 10am - 2pm. Event is free and open to all Juniors, Seniors, and Parents. Juniors will will be able to apply for their FSA IDs and complete the FAFSA forecaster; Seniors will complete necessary financial aid applications.  There will also be information sessions about FSCJ Promise, FSCJ's new program to fund the first two years of higher education for Duval and Nassau county students wanting to start their academic journey at FSCJ.

  • Reality Fair hosted by Main Library and Vystar - April 29th. This interactive simulation of adulthood will provide teens with a priceless educational experience. Participants will be assigned a career, salary, and family situation. Participants will visit various booths to make spending choices regarding housing, transportation, groceries, and more. Lunch will be provided to all participants. This event is free, but preregistration is required.   • Juniors, don't forget your College & Career Fair is tomorrow from 8-12! Students attend this event that includes over 40 program reps with their US History or English teacher. See you there!

  • April 22, 2017 Test Preparation at UNF.  Session is 8a-12p, with  bus from REL departing at 7:10am, returning at 12:30pm. This is the last opportunity this school year for students to participate in FREE test prep for ACT and SAT offered by UNF.
