B&B Exterminating Co - Part-time position available



B & B Exterminating is looking for a junior or senior who is in need of a part time job.  The position is clerical (filing, sending and answering e-mails, sending faxes, etc…).  No work experience required.  Interested students need to contact Crystal Silcox at (904)389-3323.

  • The Jacksonville Commitment Advisor, Ms. Shular, is available to assist students with college applications, scholarship searches, FAFSA, and more on March 9, 23, & 30 from 2:00-3:00 in rm 827.

  • Need more tickets for REL Graduation Ceremonies? Students can earn one (1) extra graduation ticket for completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)! How to get your ticket: Print, screen shot, or forward a copy of the PROCESSED SUCCESSFULLY e-mail to Dr. Keefe after your FAFSA has been processed successfully and sent to the school(s) you selected. Please note, you will get the PROCESSED SUCCESSFULLY e-mail after the confirmation e-mail.

  • Kahn Academy is offering FREE SAT prep sessions in the REL Media Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-4:30. Free sessions are open to all students and will be conducted until March 12th.

The Centurian Club Scholarship - due June 5


Established by The Centurian Club Inc. to provide financial incentive for students in the City of Jacksonville, FL.  The Executive Board of Directors will accept applications for students with the accomplished goals listed in the Qualifications section below.  A $1,000 grant will be the incentive given annually to a qualified applicant. 

Qualifications

  • Maintain A/B Honor roll during an application period (September-December); and (January-March)
  • Active member of a volunteer non-profit organization in the community
  • May be a continuing college student who graduated from a Duval County high school within two (2) years
  • Full time student attending school in the Duval County Public School System or an accredited Undergraduate four-year college or vocational school.
The following documents must be postmarked by June 5, 2015: 
  • Official Application Form- Pages #2 and 3 for first time applicants.
  • Cover letter- Describe your background, goals, and your future educational plans.
  • Official High School Transcript- First time applicants which will include GPA.
  •  Two letters of recommendation-First time applicants
  • Official College Transcript if you are attending college.
