With
this scholarship you get: Paid Tuition up to $30,000 per Year, Year-round
salary, Rewarding Work Experience, and Guaranteed Employment.
With
the Stokes Program, you will attend college full-time (4 classes per semester),
then work during the summer of NSA’s (National Security Agency) main
headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland, for a minimum of 12 weeks in areas that
are related to your course of study. You’ll acquire real-world experience
and receive a salary year-round.
Qualifications
for High School Seniors:
- You must be a U.S. Citizen
- You must be eligible to be granted a security clearance
- You must be a high school senior at the time of application
- You must achieve a minimum SAT score of 1600 (1100 Critical Reading and Math) or ACT of 25.
- You must be planning to major in computer science or computer/electrical engineering.
- A 3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale is preferred. (unweighted GPA)
