Attention Parents! Volunteers Needed!
BEACON Financial Aid Program
The Duval County Public Schools’ BEACON program
is seeking volunteers to assure that high school seniors receive critical
information about the college financial aid process through a personal, small
group information session with a trained volunteer. Bringing
Economic And Career Opportunities Nearer (BEACON) is a district-wide effort to provide assistance to every high school
senior. The DCPS School Counseling Department recruits and trains
volunteers for this very large outreach effort! We are looking for adults who can attend a half day training on January 23 from 8-12, and commit to all
the days needed (January
26th & 27th; 7:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) If you are interested in this program, please complete this form and submit as
