REL Announcements:
  • Congratulations to Sadie Shipman! Sadie was recently awarded admissions to Jacksonville University, an $80,000 scholarship, and two more tickets to graduation! Want to earn more tickets to graduation? Submit a copy of your admission letters, scholarship awards, and completed FAFSA. Each of these items adds you to the list for extra tickets! 
  • Interested in a military career? Want to know more about being part of the US Armed Forces? Sign up here to participate in the REL Military Service Day! Presentations given by US Army, Navy, Marines reps and more at REL Dec. 14th. 
  • Need help finishing your FAFSA? Sign up to Finish the FAFSA with reps from local colleges Dec. 15th at 10:00a. Students and parents are welcome to participate in this event! 
  • DCPS Academic Timeline:
    • End of Quarter 2/semester 1 - January 6
    • Report Cards distributed - January 26
    • 3rd quarter progress reports - Feb. 13
    • End of Quarter 3 - March 16
    • Report Cards distributed - April 3
    • 4th quarter progress reports - May 1
    • End of Quarter 4/semester 2 & last day of school - June 2

  • ACT and SAT test fee waivers for Juniors and Seniors can be picked up from Mrs. Crowden-Richardson during 2nd and 3rd block. Students attending classes off-campus can pick up waivers Fridays 9:00-10:00a.
  • Free ACT and SAT Test Prep - Saturdays at Keiser University 10:00-11:45a. Call 904-296-3440 for more information.
  • After-school tutoring is available in the REL Media Center Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for all subject areas. Students must report to the Media Center by 2:15p to participate. Students who participate in tutoring can catch the Activity Bus at 4:45.
