Announcements - Jan. 11, 2017

REL Announcements:
  • Football Team - mandatory weight training starts Jan. 17. Anyone interested in Spring Football should attend weight training. See Coach Small for more information. 
  • ACE Club - Anyone interested in architecture, construction, or engineering should attend meeting Jan. 19 at 2:30 in room 308. See Ms. Bell for more information. 
  • Baseball - open betting cage starts Thursday at 2:15. See Coach Barnes for more information. 
  • Girls Lacrosse - see Coach Badger for more information about joining this team.
  • Seniors - diplomas - all seniors should verify spelling of their names for diplomas by Jan. 13th. Lists are posted by the Counseling Suite and room 892. See Mrs. Morrison for more information. 
  • Blood Drive - January 12th. See Ms. Thomas to sign up. 
  • Seniors - Yearbook quotes - submit Jan. 19th through Planet HS. See Ms. Thomas for more information. 
  • Juniors - College Tour - deposit due Jan. 13th. See Ms. Thomas for more information. 
  • Semester 2, Report Cards, and Student Records information:
    • Semester 2/Spring semester began January 9th for DCPS and FSCJ
    • Grades for REL Semester 1 courses will be uploaded into FOCUS Jan. 13th
    • Transcripts will be updated by Jan. 23
    • Report cards will be distributed by Jan. 26th

  • May 1 - 4th quarter progress reports distributed
  • May 26 - Graduation ceremony at 10:00a at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. See Mrs. Morrison for more information.
  • June 2 - End of Quarter 4/semester 2 & last day of school
  • ACT and SAT test fee waivers for Juniors and Seniors can be picked up from Mrs. Crowden-Richardson during 2nd and 3rd block. Students attending classes off-campus can pick up waivers Fridays 9:00-10:00a.
  • Free ACT and SAT Test Prep - Saturdays at Keiser University 10:00-11:45a. Call 904-296-3440 for more information.
  • After-school tutoring is available in the REL Media Center Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for all subject areas. Students must report to the Media Center by 2:15p to participate. Students who participate in tutoring can catch the Activity Bus at 4:45.
