Mayor Brown’s office is seeking nominations for the Young Leaders
Advisory Council. The Young
Leaders Advisory Council will provide 25 high school juniors and 25 seniors the
opportunity to learn more about city government as well as advise the mayor on
issues of interest to youth. Nominees for this program must
- be a rising junior or rising senior
- should maintain a “C” or better average
- be drug-free
- be committed to improving Jacksonville
The Council will begin with a two-day orientation
in August and meet monthly
