The
Friends of 440 is a charitable organization that grants scholarship
funds to deserving kids whose parents are involved in the workers’ compensation
system as, for example, lawyers or legal assistants, insurance adjusters,
medical personnel who treat workers’ compensation patients, and, of course,
injured workers. Our scholarship is available to kids who have the
talent, the financial need, and the necessary connection to the workers’
compensation system. High school seniors must have a 2.7 GPA to apply and
scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA and have at least 12
credit hours per semester, in order to remain eligible for funds.
APPLICATIONS
FOR SCHOLARSHIPS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FEBRUARY 28, 2015. THE
