Internships in Sports Medicine, Adaptive Sports, Rehab for Sports Therapy



Interested in Sports Medicine? Curious to know more about Adaptive Sports? Want to help athletes recover from injuries? 

Brooks Rehabilitation and the Duval County Public School System are entering into to a partnership dedicated to providing real life experiences that will inform and guide career paths for students interested in the medical field. Internships are now available at:

  • Brooks Rehabilitation Adaptive Sports Program
  • Brooks Rehabilitation Center for Sports Therapy
  • Brooks Sports Medicine Program 

Eligibility criteria: 

  • Program is open to current Juniors. 
  • Students must demonstrate an interest in the medical or therapy field.  
  • Students must demonstrate a willingness to commitment to the program.
  • Internships are scheduled for a minimum of two months.
  • Student are required to participate in internship activities for four-six hours per week. These hours can be scheduled after school and on weekends in the case of Adaptive Sports activities.
